He has definitely been taken for an islander before. But Mexican people think he's Mexican and Asian people sometimes think he's part Asian! The only people who have ever guessed correctly are others who have biracial black/white kids or who have a lot of experience with kids of different ethnic backgrounds (e.g. our adoption attorney in Salt Lake)!
